“Smartphones Are Getting Even Smarter"
- There are 5.3 billion mobile subscribers (that's 77% of the world population).
- It is estimated that there are over 475,000 apps for the iPhone and over 300,000 for the Android.
- Out of all users who pay for apps, 93% are ready to pay for a game, 87% are willing to pay for entertainment apps, and 84% are willing pay for productivity, as well as maps/navigation and search apps.
There is no end to the usage and purposes of the smartphone applications (“apps”) that can be downloaded for a phone. Whether your phone is used for fun or for work, there are apps that can fit virtually any of your needs. Which apps are available for your smartphone depends on your brand and model of phone. Some apps are universal while others are specific to certain brands.
