Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

ATTENTION NEW YORK EMPLOYERS!

**Every employer in New York State is now required by law to provide employees with Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.**

All employees are required to complete the initial training by October 9, 2019!

Our Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Program
is LIVE, CUSTOMIZED, and INTERACTIVE and includes a PowerPoint presentation which gives:

an explanation of sexual harassment consistent with guidance issued by the Department of Labor
industry specific examples of unlawful sexual harassment
information concerning the federal and state statutory provisions concerning sexual harassment and remedies
information concerning employees’ rights of redress and all available forums for adjudicating complaints
information addressing conduct by supervisors and additional responsibilities for supervisors, if

During the Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Program, written materials will be distributed, there will be a reciprocal Q&A component between presenter and employees, and feedback will be requested about the training and the materials presented.

Employers also receive assistance with establishing an appropriate Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy in the Workplace.
